With the technological advancement, scientists all over the world are searching for new energy sources. One of the new sources is pyrolysis oil. This is a liquid fuel that is developed from biomass. The fuel when fully utilized will have a lot of benefits.

This greatly affects the economies of countries that do not have their own fossil fuel.

Solar energy requires lots of investment on solar panels which are too expensive. With this fuel, not much is needed. Most machines will retain their engines with only small modifications. It is also a more practical option for internal combustion engines on vehicles.
Production when done on large scale will be much cheaper. Large scale production especially around areas where there is a lot of biomass waste such as near sugar mills can lead to much cheaper fuel as compared to mining of coal or production of petroleum. With cheaper fuel, manufacturing costs and transportation costs will reduce.
Other fuels such as ethanol are produced from maize and other food stuff or planting of other fuel crops. This greatly affect the availability of food to human and hence distort normal food chain. Since this fuel is produced form biomass, it does not affect the food source of organism and hence its production will have the least influence on food chain.
Normal fossil fuel produces several emissions that are greenhouse gases. Use of the biofuel is also having environmental benefits since it is a greenhouse gas neutral biofuel. If adopted worldwide, pyrolysis oil use will lead to lesser emission and hence human being will be able to control the amount of green house gases in the atmosphere again. This will lead to better climate and hence improvement on agricultural sector.
